FOOTBALL SHOULD BE
FOR ALL.
Stonewall FC was established in February 1991 in London, when one of our founding members placed an advert in a gay publication, asking if like minded people wanted to play competitive football.
Over thirty years on from that first season in the Sportsmans Senior Sunday Football League, we have grown in membership now fielding three competitive 11-a-side teams, three competitive Women & Non-binary teams and offering regular training and recreational 5-a-side football.
Throughout this journey, the club have also gone on to achieve a number of international tournament successes, with a Stonewall FC team reaching the final of every LGBT tournament we've entered, since the year 2000.
One thing that hasn’t changed since the clubs inception, is our commitment to creating footballing environments where people can be comfortable as their authentic-selves.
Through this ambition, we are proud to have been a driving force in helping tackle discrimination within the game and will continue to challenge homophobia, transphobia and biphobia through the universal language of football.
Stonewall FC will continue to be a safe space for anyone who wishes to get involved with football.

THE SILVERWARE
Since 1995, we have placed for a medal at ever Gay Games, EuroGames and IGLFA World Cup that we have competed in and have won a total of 19 gold medals.
Our 1XI are also the current highest competing openly LGBT+ football club within the English football structure. As a club, we are aim to retain these accolades and secure further success on the field.

Our past and where we've come from is just as important as our future.
Have a look at some of our club's photos dating back to as early as 1991 when the club was founded.
Right from our inception, the club competed in LGBT+ competitions of the time, traveling, competing and in some cases, winning at tournaments within host countries such as Berlin, LA, Paris and many more.
As a club, we owe a lot to those before us who bravely paved the way to create the space we are today.
